Robert Glover, age 63, passed away on October 27, 2015. He was born on February 27, 1952 in Odessa, TX. Robert spent most of his childhood traveling internationally with his family and he graduated from high school in Venezuela. Once he found his way back to the States, Robert spent his time fishing, bowling, and playing pool. He loved entertaining the ladies and especially enjoyed taking his nieces and nephews “honky-tonking”. He was always there for them, filling in as a father figure when they needed instruction learning how to drive, fish, or working on cars. He spent quality time with them and knew how to have fun whether it be sharing a joke, picking on them, or giving them nicknames like “trouble” or “headbanger”. Robert worked in the oilfields for most of his career but always found time for American Legion cook-offs and supporting the local VFW.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Glover. He is survived by his mother, Mary Glover; sisters, Karen LaBlue and husband Gary and Mary Lynn Eudy; nieces, Jennifer Bryant, Holly Casey, Heather Scott, and Hayley Millsaps; nephews, Kristopher LaBlue, Robert Casey, J.C. Eudy, and Albert Lee Eudy.; Eighteen great nieces and nephews; and numerous relatives and friends.
