Matthew Richard Camacho

Matthew Richard Camacho, age 28, born November 15, 1995, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, California. Matthew was a very bright, loving, and happy child. His smile would light up the room. He was a great student who loved sports and spending time with his family and friends. Matthew graduated from Etiwanda High School in Etiwanda, California in May of 2013. After graduating high school, he worked for the family business for a brief time. Matthew moved with his parents to Montgomery, Texas in April of 2023. He enjoyed flying kites with his grandpa Elmo, riding the golf cart around the neighborhood enjoying nature and he took to gardening in honor of his grandma Christine who passed away in October 2022. He also enjoyed spending time with our family dog, Packer. Matthew lived at home with his parents until his passing on June 27, 2024. Matthew is survived by his parents, Rick and Romayne Camacho; his siblings, Lauren Valenzuela, Desmond Camacho and Justin Camacho; his nephew, Christian Bolanos and his nieces, Abigale Mariscal and Mia Mariscal.

Despite the struggles that he endured, Matthew still had such a loving heart, especially to those who were closest to him. We will fondly remember Matthew for his beautiful smile, his loving heart, and his sense of humor. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Until we meet again.

The Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Restoration Church, 107 Fish Creek Thoroughfare, Montgomery, TX 77316.
