David Page was born on July 29, 1950 in Crockett, Texas. The youngest and seventh child of Jeff and Hazel Page. He received his Angel Wings at home in Montgomery Texas surrounded by love on December 4, 2022.
At birth, his mother named him Frank Mitchell, however his grandmother didn’t like the name and decided to call him David. It stuck for the rest of his life and all that knew him called him David, even his mother. In fact, David didn’t even know it wasn’t his “real” name until he was 16.
He was a Journeyman Electrician for 56 years working for various electric companies including one where he met his wife, Kay. In 1992, he went to work for Aldine ISD where he retired in 2014 after 22 years of service. David is also a Lifetime Member of The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo since 1979.
On January 21, 1983, he married the love of his life Kay (Davis) Page. In August 2022, they took an Alaskan Cruise to celebrate their 40th Anniversary. A lifelong dream for both of them.
David is survived by his wife, Kay. Children - Susie Garney, Mysti Staley, Chris Davis, Mandi Davis and Jason Medford. Ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, Brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Dianne Page, Sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Calvin Gurka. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Hazel Page; brother, Jesse Page; sisters, Jaunita Thomas, Mary Reynolds and Katie Findley and Grandson, Dillon Medford
You hardly ever saw David without a smile and his larger-than-life presence when he walked in a room with his booming voice and laugh which will be greatly missed by all.
The Celebration of life will be held at 2 PM on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N Frazier St #115, Conroe, TX 77301. The visitation will begin at 1 PM prior.
