Carrie Smith, 75, of Vidor, Texas, died June 5, 2024. Mrs. Smith was born on March 30, 1949 in Henderson, Texas to Erwin and Patty Hudson.
Mrs. Smith retired from the United States Postal Service after more than 25 years of service. She spent her free time watching Carol Burnett re-runs and looking at old photos and reminiscing about her childhood and her family life. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her family was very important to her.
She is survived by her son, Bryan Smith and his wife, Cassie; her daughter Dana York and her husband Robie; grandchildren, Morgan Cruthirds and her husband Dustin, Garrett Smith and his wife Jessie, Tanner Lee and Caleb Smith; great grandchildren Brooks Cruthirds and Ember Sosa-Lee.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Alzheimer’s Association.
